Met my friend Angela, who went to high school with me and who now lives just a couple of blocks from my office and about a dozen blocks from my apartment in Oakland, for one of our regular lunches in the neighborhood. This was today’s shared dessert: a trio of homemade mini-ice cream sandwiches ringed with hot fudge.

    Tamikka, the one in front was the tastiest, but they were all good.
