I met my friends Deb and Grace at the Oakland Coliseum for the A’s-Indians game on September 18. After the game (which the A’s won!), they let everyone out onto the field, where we lay on our backs in the outfield and watched fireworks burst over our heads. Thrill of the grass, indeed.
