My friends Karen and James from Iowa spent the day in Berkeley, and we met for brunch at La Note, followed by a stroll around the campus and down Telegraph. We ate brunch on the back patio that opens up at the end of this alley/corridor — it was a beautiful space filled with fruit trees and flowers.
