I stayed with my friends Betsy and Dan at their apartment over the weekend after my Chicago meetings ended, and we decided to splurge on dinner at The Publican, a gastropub that had recently been written up in the New York Times. The space was beautiful, and the dinner, filled with house-butchered and locally-sourced products, was delicious.
