After work, I went in search of an appropriate Earth Day photo in downtown Oakland. I stopped in a little park less than a block off Broadway that is a bit of oasis amidst the downtown chaos. I sat in this park one afternoon while I was looking for apartments just less than a year ago, and it was an incredibly peaceful moment at a time of great change.
