Class ring, found

Way back in the day, my college classmates Katherine and Jenny threw a shower for me in honor of my impending wedding. The afternoon of the shower (which, at this point, was almost 10 years ago), Katherine’s Mary Baldwin College ring, which her father had given her, fell down the shower drain and she couldn’t recover it. Not that long ago, a plumber came by the house to do something else, and she asked him to check the trap. There, even after all these years, all those showers and baths, and countless bottles of Drano, was the ring. It’s a little worse for wear, but in awfully good shape considering what it’s been through.
