“Book Club: The Paperback Edition” hit The Alembic in The Haight tonight for cocktails and bar bites. It was my first visit to a bar that I’m certain I will return to — the drinks were outstanding, the vibe was fun, and the Haight dazzled me. I was sitting right near where the bartender was mixing drinks, and I caught him flaming the orange twist on a blood and sand toward the end of our tenure at the bar.
