In the Fall, I joined a book club that my friend Sandra has been a member of for years. Friday night, the club met, ostensibly to discuss “The Circus in Winter” by Cathy Day. Truth is, we generally spend way more time telling our own stories, while eating a potluck dinner and drinking copious amounts of wine.
