At Tamarindo Antojeria in Oakland, where I met my friends Brenda and Kevin and Jeff for dinner. True small world story: I met Brenda here in the Bay Area, and then just met her fiancé, Kevin, earlier this year. Kevin lives in DC and they commute back and forth to see each other. So Kevin, the night we met, said, “I think I know a guy you went to high school with.” Turned out that was Jeff. Turned out Jeff had a business trip out to Oakland the same week Kevin would be out here visiting Brenda. So we all got together for a night of antojitos in this small, small world of ours.
