Scotch flight, Bacar

After the BlogHer event at 330 Ritch, six of us walked over to grab dinner at Bacar. At the end of the meal, Biggie’s (of Lunch in a Box) husband asked the waiter why there were no prices on the menu for the flights of liquor, and the waiter went to check the prices of the Islay single malt flight. He came back and told us it was $14 for the flight, and so Biggie’s husband and I ordered a flight each. They arrived in such generous proportions that we figured they were going to be $40 instead of $14, and that we’d misheard the waiter. The bill arrived, and indeed, it was $14 per flight…an incredible bargain for the amount and quality of single malt consumed.
