My friends Anita and Cameron threw a 40th birthday pig roast for Cameron today, and it was a truly fabulous event. The centerpiece animal was 70 pounds of delicious.
One of the most fun things about this party was the unabashed (and truly carnivorous) way everyone was just reaching right in and pulling hot pork off the bone. There was much steam coming off the pig–I love how it looks like Jennifer’s reaching into a cauldron of dry ice or something, even though she’s just going in for more hot pork!
