After one strangely hurtful (but unintentional on the part of the other party) encounter this morning, my day was cranky and broody. But I had to rally—I had friends coming over for a tapas spread, and sure enough, their company, the food and the wine was just what I needed to knock me out of my funk. It was also the first time I tried making multiple 8-inch tortillas rather than one giant tortilla español, leaving me with the conclusion that, from here on out, I will always make tortillas with my small, nonstick pan. So much easier to flip!
